Svetoslav Savov scored on his debut for the Yelows at Randals Island in 2001 and hasn't looked back since.
A talented left sided player, Savov can operate in both defence and midfield. Indeed, he showed his tremendous potential on his debut for the Yellow when he performed well in the pre-season friendly against Ukrain in July.
"Svetlio is a player with immense talent," said manager Rado Belev. "He is a good, young, exciting prospect and that is why we have brought him to the club."
His determination to give 100 per cent every time he pulls on the red shirt has made him a firm favourite with both the manager and the fans.
Savov was rewarded with a new contract extension in the summer of 2003 which ties him with FC Bulgaria until 2007.
